Language & family
A language lives through the people who use it. Learning does not always need a formal lesson: a story at dinner, a song or a question about someone’s day can create small opportunities to connect.
In a multilingual family, everyone can contribute different strengths. Some enjoy telling stories; others prefer reading or looking up an unfamiliar word together. The aim is to enjoy communicating, rather than getting every word right immediately.
Try a simple starting point: choose three everyday words together. Write them in your languages and add a drawing. Over time, these small collections can become your own family dictionary.
